After entering the name of Disease click New command
For defining Statistical models click on the appropriate commands for the Disease: Regression , ANN , CutOff Regression Models

Enter Name and Constant and click New Regression button to create a new Regression model.
Constant must be a number between -1 and 1.
Click Factors button to define Factors for your Regression model; the factors are shown in the Factors section below.

In the Factors section the Factors for Regression models are defined.
First select the Regression model by clicking on Factors button.
Select the Factros from the list; the Factors for a model can not be repeated.
Enter Coefficent value for each Factor and click New Factor button; the coefficient must be a number between -1 and 1.
Note: The sum of Constant value and Coefficient values must be a number between 0 and 1. ANN models

CCR or Correct Classification Rate is the percent of correct estimation of this ANN model for all data. CCR is calculated by the ANN designing software and is a number between 0 and 100. If you don't know the CCR, use 100 for it.
You can define and see Factors and Cases of this model by clicking on Factors-Cases button.

Factors and Cases of ANN model are defined in the Factors section. These factors can not repeat for a model.
You must note the order for selecting these Factors, the inputs for Cases of ANN model or Factors Values in Cases section are defined according to this order.

Cases for ANN model are defined in the Cases section. Each case defines the Factors status for that case, fore example 101 means positive first and third Factors and negative second factor. For defining all probable Cases for the model according to defined Factors, click on the Create Cases button.
After defining Cases by system, you can define Disease Value (0 for negative and 1 for positive value) and Case Probability for each case.
Case Probability means probability of correct diagnosis for that case, this value is calculated by the ANN software. If you don't know the value, use 100.  CutOff models

In this page you can define CutOff models for your Disease; CutOff models compare sum of score of Factors with CutOff value.
After defining CutOff Value , you must enter PPV (Probability of Disease when the model output is positive) and NPV (Probability of no Disease when the model output is negative) too.

Factors for the CutOff model define in the Factors section. Factors for each model can not be repeated.
Scores can be any positive or negative number; If the corresponding Factor is positive, this number is added to sum of Scores to compare with CutOff value. Factors

Factors are signs, symptoms, paraclinical data or any other predicting variable for Disease probability.
These factors can be used in different Statistical models for Diseases.
Use Insert button for creating new Factor.
Use Search button to search by any part of the Factor Name. Diagnosis by Disease

In this page the Probability of one Disease by defined statistical models is calculated.
At first select the Disease from the Disease drop down list, then select your models from the appropriate lists below; for selecting multiple choices from a list, use Ctrl and Click at the same time.
Click on the Show Factors button to see appropriate Factors in relation to the selected Models. Check your choices.
Click on the Diagnose button to see calculated probabilities for different models and all models at all. Diagnosis by Factor

In this page the probability of different Diseases according to the selected Factor(Chief Complaint) is calculated. This probability is calculated according to Statistical Models that defined in the system and the selected Factor(Chief Complaint) is used in them.
Select your Factor from the Factor(Chief Complaint) drop down list first; if you like, you can see and select other related Factors too by clicking on Show Related Factors.
Click on the Diagnose button to see probabilities of different Diseases by using different Models; in the end the total probabilities of different Diseases is shown in Descending order. Designed by : DrToussy-ToussySoftware : 2011
